Verkos AI: Detect Anything Agents
AI-Powered Video Intelligence for Drone Operations
FlytBase is excited to introduce Verkos AI - Detect Anything Agents, a new AI-powered video intelligence capability designed to help operators automatically detect and act on critical events during live drone operations.
The Data Problem
Your drones are collecting video constantly. Scheduled patrols, inspection sweeps, site monitoring flights. Hours of footage per day, across multiple docks, multiple sites. The footage exists. The question is what's in it.
Reviewing that footage after the fact requires manpower and experience. Watching hours of video to find the moments that matter. A vehicle circling a facility at 2 AM. A missing solar panel in a field of thousands. A person breaching a perimeter. Equipment damage on a rail corridor. These events are buried in continuous feeds, and finding them means someone has to watch, recognize, and flag every one manually.
Most organizations can't staff that level of review. So footage gets archived without analysis, events go undetected until someone notices the consequences, and the operational intelligence your drones are capturing goes unused.
Verkos Agents: AI That Watches Your Video Feed
Verkos is FlytBase's AI capability for drone operations. Verkos Agents monitor your live drone video feed during flight, detect events relevant to your operation, and alert you when something requires attention.
Each agent is purpose-built for a specific industry vertical, with detection use cases designed for that domain's operational reality. A security agent recognizes behavioral patterns like vehicle circling and perimeter breaches. A solar farm agent identifies panel damage and vegetation encroachment. A refinery agent monitors for leaks, fire indicators, and PPE compliance.
When a Verkos Agent detects a configured event during flight, three things happen automatically: an alert appears in the dedicated Verkos alerts panel, an email notification is sent to your configured recipients, and the relevant media is captured and stored in your FlytBase gallery.
You define what matters. Verkos Agents handle the monitoring.
The Verkos Agent Suite
Verkos launches with ten agents spanning security, infrastructure, energy, transportation, and industrial operations. Each agent contains pre-built detection events specific to its vertical, organized by category.

Available agents include:
Agent
Focus
General Security
Perimeter security, unauthorized access, threats, violence, vandalism, theft indicators
Solar Farm Management
Panel defects, vegetation encroachment, environmental hazards, security threats
Public Safety
Traffic incidents, emergencies, crowd situations, hazmat indicators, infrastructure damage
Railroad Operation Management
Track defects, signal issues, security concerns along rail corridors
Refinery Inspection and Monitoring
Leaks, fires, PPE compliance, equipment conditions
Mining Site Management
Equipment tracking, safety zone monitoring, infrastructure assessment
Electric Utilities Inspection and Monitoring
Transmission and distribution infrastructure, vegetation clearance, equipment condition
Maritime Ports Inspection and Monitoring
Port infrastructure, vessel monitoring, cargo operations, security
Construction Site Monitoring
Progress tracking, safety compliance, equipment positioning, site security
Highway Inspection and Monitoring
Road surface conditions, signage, barriers, drainage, structural elements
This initial suite will expand over time with additional agents and detection capabilities.
Inside an Agent: Detection Events
Each Verkos Agent contains a library of detection events organized by category. Operators can enable only the events relevant to their operation and leave others disabled.

For example, the General Security Agent includes behavioural pattern events like:
Person pacing or circling building
Person approaching multiple vehicles
Vehicle circling premises
Vehicle conducting slow pass-bys
Person looking into parked vehicles
Person trying multiple car door handles
The operator can enable "Vehicle circling premises" and "Person trying multiple car door handles" for a parking facility but leave crowd-related events disabled. The agent monitors only what was configured.
This level of control allows teams to tailor monitoring precisely to their site and mission requirements.
Custom Detection Events
In addition to pre-built events, Verkos Agents support custom detection events for scenarios specific to your operation.
Live Search Events
During active flight, temporary detection events can be added through the Live Search interface within the Operations view. By describing the object or condition of interest (e.g., “Damaged mounting structure”), the system immediately begins monitoring for it.
These events apply only to the current flight and do not persist to subsequent operations.

Live Search allows operators to adapt monitoring in real time without changing their saved agent configuration. Configure it on the spot, and the agent incorporates it for that flight.
How It Works
Verkos Agents operate through cloud-based video analysis. During flight, the agent samples frames from the live drone video feed at a configurable interval and analyzes each frame for the enabled detection events.
Agent Settings
Operators control how the agent behaves using simple configuration options:
Email recipients for alert notifications
Video feed monitoring frequency based on operational needs:
You control how often the agent samples your video feed through the Video Feed Monitoring Frequency setting, adjustable between 5 and 30 seconds.
Lower intervals mean more frequent analysis and faster detection, but increase processing load. Higher intervals reduce processing but may miss brief events.
The right setting depends on your operation. Fast-moving security scenarios benefit from shorter intervals. Routine inspection sweeps where conditions change slowly may work fine at longer intervals.

Once configured, these settings persist across flights.
Only one agent can be active at a time, ensuring the monitoring focus aligns with the primary objective of the mission.
Operational Scope
Verkos Agents analyze video during active drone flight only.
The agent must be manually started for each flight. Your agent configuration and activated use cases configuration persists between flights, but you just need to initalise the agent each time you fly.
Where You’ll See It
Verkos Agents are integrated across the FlytBase platform:

When to Use Verkos Agents
Verkos Agents are ideal for operations where continuous video monitoring is not feasible, including:
Security patrols and perimeter monitoring
Large-scale infrastructure inspections
Public safety and emergency response
Industrial and energy site monitoring
Transportation corridors and highways
Multi-site or high-frequency drone deployments
Hardware Compatibility
Verkos Agents operate through cloud-based video analysis and are compatible with all DJI docks supported by FlytBase:
Dock 3

Network requirement: Cloud-based analysis requires active network connectivity for video feed transmission to Verkos servers during flight.
Detection performance depends on network conditions and available bandwidth.
