With this release, FlytBase now supports seamless integration and remote control of the DJI AS1 (Speaker) and DJI AL1 (Spotlight) payloads for Dock operations. Operators can broadcast audio and illuminate target areas directly from Cockpit View, with consistent behavior across manual and autonomous workflows.
This enhancement improves response coordination, strengthens communication with teams on-ground, and increases visibility in low-light and night-time operations.
What changed
You can now operate the following payload capabilities from the FlytBase Dashboard:
DJI AS1 — Speaker
Broadcast preset messages or text-to-speech announcements
Support incident communication and field coordination
Improve coverage in wide or dispersed operational environments
DJI AL1 — Spotlight
Activate static or strobe illumination modes
Illuminate target areas during night operations and search activities
Improve scene visibility for perimeter security and inspection tasks
Both payloads work with existing manual control workflows and payload handoff behavior.
